Team Perosh student Matthew Thompson lost his Muay Thai match at the Muaythai Australia NSW Development Day in Sydney on Saturday 21st July. It was his debut match and he has only been training for 1 year. Matthew did his best and that is all you can do! Thank you to Liam Bohan for coming out to support and help him warm up.

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts had 200 students grade in BJJ and Muay Thai Kickboxing on 20th-21st June in Sydney. Congratulations to all the adults and kids that graded. Extra special congratulations to new BJJ Blue Belt Stefania Boitano, new Muay Thai Purple T-shirts Nathan Maitre and Stefania Boitano and new Muay Thai Blue T-shirt Khalil Griege.

Muay Thai Development Day in Sydney results

Joey Belfiore and John Kim lost their Muay Thai Kickboxing matches by decision at the Muay Thai NSW Kickboxing Development Day on 2nd June. They both did their best and fought to the end. That’s all I can ask! I am sure they will learn from it and improve.

Thank you to Nelson and Hari for warming them up and help corner.

Affiliate, make up and spontaneous BJJ gradings

We had a lot of affiliate academies grade in BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) in Macquarie Park, Kemps Creek, Smithfield and also make up gradings at Five Dock.

Congrats to everyone who graded in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing at Team Perosh affiliate academy Macquarie University on Wednesday 4th April. Extra special congratulations to new Muay Thai Kickboxing Blue T-shirts Henry and Artem. Well done and thank you to head coach Victor Fox for getting all of the students ready.

Congrats to all the adults and kids who graded in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Team Perosh affiliate academy Elite Martial Arts on Thursday 5th April. Extra special congratulations to new BJJ Blue Belts Zac, Adam and Crystal. Well done and thank you to head coaches Dan Stoll and Ethan Zahra for getting all of the students ready.

Congrats to the adults and kids who graded in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing at the makeup grading on 6th April. On top of that the adults had to do 300 burpees during the grading. They got through it and were able to do their technique and sparring. Well done!

Big congratulations to new BJJ Brown Belt Hayden Mckay! He did 10 rounds of 5 minutes with the 10th round a shark tank on the 7th April. We had 50 in the class with 2 black belts, 6 browns and 15 blue and purple belts to push him through the 10 rounds and encourage him on. Well done!

Congrats to all the adults and kids who graded in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Team Perosh affiliate academy Extreme Martial Fitness on Saturday 21st April. It was the third adults BJJ grading and very first Kids BJJ grading. Well done and thank you to head coaches Richard Arpad and Phil Ferraro for getting all of the students ready.

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts Grading results March 2018

About 250 students participated in the BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and Muay Thai Kickboxing gradings for adults and kids at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts in March 2018.

In Adults BJJ there was 1 Purple Belt and 12 Blue Belts awarded along with many other grades. Extra special congratulations to new BJJ Purple Belt Hari Rajaji.

In Adults Muay Thai Kickboxing 2 new Blue T-Shirts were awarded along with many other grades. Extra Special Congratulations to new Muay Thai Kickboxing Blue T-Shirts Guy Vaccaro and John Kim.

We had 3 classes grade in Kids BJJ ranging in ages from 5 to 15 and our very first ever Kids Muay Thai Kickboxing grading for 10-15 year olds.

Congratulations to everyone that graded!

Nathan Corbett Muay Thai Seminar February 2018

What a great Muay Thai Kickboxing seminar held by 11 x World Muay Thai Champion Nathan Carnage Corbett on Saturday 10th February at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts.

He taught for over 3 hours and didn’t hold back showing his favourite techniques he used to win his World Championships. He taught punches, kicks, knees and of course his speciality elbows! He also included his mindset for doing techniques and for competition. Nathan was a great coach and made sure he gave attention to everyone in the seminar.

After the seminar he took photos with everyone and answered questions and hung out.

I met up with long time friend Todd Fox on Saturday 3rd February and had a good Muay Thai Kickboxing padwork session and also BJJ roll with him. He is a BJJ black belt under Carlos Machado. He was in Sydney as Roger Waters‘ head of security for his World tour. Great catch up and great training! And great concert too. Thank you for the tickets!
