Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts Grading results March 2018

About 250 students participated in the BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and Muay Thai Kickboxing gradings for adults and kids at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts in March 2018.

In Adults BJJ there was 1 Purple Belt and 12 Blue Belts awarded along with many other grades. Extra special congratulations to new BJJ Purple Belt Hari Rajaji.

In Adults Muay Thai Kickboxing 2 new Blue T-Shirts were awarded along with many other grades. Extra Special Congratulations to new Muay Thai Kickboxing Blue T-Shirts Guy Vaccaro and John Kim.

We had 3 classes grade in Kids BJJ ranging in ages from 5 to 15 and our very first ever Kids Muay Thai Kickboxing grading for 10-15 year olds.

Easter Schedule for Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts

There will be no MMA, BJJ or Muay Thai Kickboxing classes at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts on the following dates:

  • 30th March Good Friday – Closed
  • 31st March Easter Saturday – Open
  • 1st April Easter Sunday – Closed
  • 2nd April Easter Monday – Closed

BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) Affiliate Gradings – Sydney, Dubbo, Nowra

I ran 3 BJJ gradings at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts affiliate schools in Sydney, Dubbo and Nowra in March 2018.

Congrats to Team Perosh MMA affiliate academy IMC who had their BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) grading last Friday 16th March in Sydney. Students from IMC Kemps Creek Martial Arts, IMC Liverpool Martial Arts, IMC Prospectand IMC Wetherill Park graded. Four new BJJ Blue Belts were awarded on the night! Well done everyone.

What fantastic grading at Team Perosh affiliate school Dubbo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on 10th March. Well done to everyone who graded including a new purple belt Jerryn Biles and to the 4 new blue belts.

Congrats to Richard Ktb Kemps from Team Perosh affiliate school Kemp’s Thai Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts on receiving his BJJ Brown belt on the 9th March!


BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) results March 2018

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts have been competing and winning in BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) around the country in Sydney and Byron Bay.

Congrats to Team Perosh student Axyl Howie on winning a gold in nogi and silver in gi at the Byron Bay BJJ Open on Sunday 4th March. Well done Axyl!

Team Perosh had 4 students win 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal at the IBJJF Sydney Open on Sunday 18th March in Sydney. Frances Bavaro won double gold, Rebecca Beuk won a gold and bronze and Mason Elias won a silver medal. Congrats to Ben Adams who made his debut in BJJ competition. Well done to everyone who competed!

On 25th March Team Perosh competed in the Australian Girls in Gi BJJ competition and the ISKA NSW Open in Sydney. At the AGIG Frances Bavaro won gold, Amelia Roufas won double gold and Jayda La Fleur won gold. And big congrats to Emma Hunt for competing. Only gold medals were awarded at this event. At the NSW BJJ Open Damian Iacono and Natasha Iacono each won a gold medal. Well done to everyone!



Eternal 30 MMA results from the Gold Coast

What a stellar performance by Team Perosh student Andrew Khare in his 1st round TKO win at Eternal MMA 30 on the Gold Coast on Saturday 4th March.

Andrew dominated from the opening bell and always looked in control the whole match.

Thank you to cornermen Phil Kim and Joey Belfiore for helping to prepare Andrew backstage and to Grechy for wrapping hands.
