We won Best Academy again at Grappling Industries!

Team Perosh had 1 adult, 1 teenager and 6 kids win 10 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals last wekend at Grappling Industries. All 8 students competed in gi and no gi and all 8 medalled in both gi and no gi. They did so well that team Perosh won Best Academy for the second Grappling Industries in a row in Sydney. Double gold to Joel Gaal, Damian Iacono, Isaac Herodotou and Dante Barbanera, Gold and silver to Axyl Howie, Gold and bronze to Stef Boitano, Double silver to Lewis Massih and Double bronze to Brigitte Massih. Well done to everyone that competed!

Andrew Mills defends his Welterweight MMA title

Team Perosh Andrew Mills won his mma match and defended his Welterweight title last night at Superfight MMA 12. It was a tough 5 round unanimous decision win by Andrew. Andrew used his strikes, takedowns and BJJ to win the decision. Thank you to all the cornermen who helped out and to everyone who came to support from Team Perosh. Enjoy the win and rest Andrew!

SCSA Rydalmere new BJJ & MMA affiliate

Welcome to new Team Perosh affiliate academy Sydney Combat Sports Academy (SCSA) in Rydalmere. I taught their first BJJ class last Wednesday night. From next week Coach Andrew Mills will be teaching BJJ Wednesday nights and Coach Richard Arpad will be teaching BJJ Friday nights. Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts have 18 new BJJ State Champions! The 18 state champions are 7 adults, 3 teenagers and 8 kids. We had 45 competitors from 6 different Team Perosh academies including Five Dock HQ (26), Pure Jiu-Jitsu (10), RMA & Total Fitness (4), Movement Martial Arts (3), Elite (1) and Macq uni (1).

Individual results are:
• Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts – Gold to Nobby Kuandyk (Double), Fran Bavaro, Guy Vaccaro, Kosta Panayi, Joel Gaal (Double), Damian Iacono, Aryan Singh, Kobe Harb, Ruben Darchinyan, Natasha Iacono, Axyl Howie and Sam Cassaniti. 2 wins 1 loss at UFN MMA show

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts fighters went 2 wins 1 loss at UFN MMA 19 show in Sydney on Friday 28th June. Daniel McVicker and Albert Roncal both won by decision and both were on their MMA debut. Nathan Maitre lost a very close decision is his Flyweight title match. Well done everyone!
