I held a grading and seminar for Kids BJJ and a seminar for Adults BJJ at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts affiliate academy Newcastle Karate last Sunday 28th July in Newcastle. It was the first time I went up there for grading and seminar. Big congrats to everyone who graded and thank you to everyone who attend my BJJ seminar. Well done to coaches Marc Matthews, Jesse Landry, Marc Whitehead and Cameron McGregor for getting everyone ready for the grading. I am looking forward to the next one already!
Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts had a make up grading for students who missed out grading in the June grading. We had adults and kids both grade in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. The adults also completed the 300 Burpees exercise which has become a tradition of the make up grading. Well done to everyone who graded!

I attended affiliate BJJ gradings of Macquarie University Sport & Aquatic Centre at Macquarie Park last Wednesday night and Elite Martial Arts Australia at Minchinbury last Thursday night. The adults graded in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing and kids in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Big congrats to everyone who graded. Well done to head coach Victor Fox at Macquarie and Ethan Zahra at Elite on getting everyone ready for their grading.

Team Perosh BJJ Affiliate academies Elite Martial arts Australia, IMC Kemps Creek Martial Arts and Extreme Martial Fitness had their BJJ gradings for both adults and kids. Well done to everyone who graded.
There were 3 BJJ comps on the weekend and all a bit different! Michael De Marco had 2 matches that went to a draw in his Sub Only no gi matches and was part of the winning team. Guy Vaccaro won the Victorian BJJ State Championships with 3 wins for a gold medal. And the Team Perosh Kids Girls team Natasha Iacono, Jayda La Fleur and Emma Hunt competed in the Australian Girls in Gi. Well done to everyone that competed!
