Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts Christmas Party 2018

What a great Christmas party we had for adults and kids at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts on Saturday 16th December in Sydney! About 150 students, family and friends helped us celebrate a great 2017. Everyone enjoyed the all you can eat Korean BBQ at the Wagyu House in Croydon followed by 3 monster cakes for dessert and the great company.

As tradition the annual awards were awarded on the day. Congratulations to:

  • Adults Competitor of the Year – Frances Bavaro
  • Adults Most Improved of the Year – Peter Mrsnik
  • Kids Competitor of the Year – Axyl Howie
  • Kids Most Improved of the Year – Jake Lapi

All the award winners put in great performances in 2017. They are all great students, great competitors and great people.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas party. Thank you to all of our students who have made 2017 our best year to date!

I also want to thank everyone for the gift I was given of a white gi with the Team Perosh logos embroided on the gi along with a beautiful card signed by the students. I am very grateful. Thank you!

My good friend and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) 2nd Degree Black Belt Matt Cooper came to Sydney in October and took classes for 3 days at Team Perosh. Matt is the head instructor at our affiliate school in Brisbane called Advance Martial Arts. Matt is the second student I awarded a black belt to back in 2009. Thank you to all the students at Team Perosh for making him feel welcome.

We have moved our MMA. BJJ and Muay Thai Kickboxing academy from Concord to Five Dock. Classes at the new location at Ground Floor, 97 Queens Road started Monday 25th September! Check out the timetable and photos of the new and the new academy.
