Team Perosh have 10 New Australian BJJ Champions! We had 13 students compete in the Australian Federation of Brasilian Jiu Jitsu National Championships last weekend in Melbourne and 10 of them won gold and are now Australian Champion! They include 5 juniors, 2 teenagers, 2 adults and 1 Master! What an amazing performance!

New Australian Champions are Anthony Perosh (Double), Michael De Marco (Double), Guy Vaccaro, Kosta Panayi, Natasha Iacono, Damian Iacono, Kobe Harb, Ruben Darchinyan, Sam Cassaniti and Dante Barbenera! Silver medals were won by Aryan Singh, Jake Lapi and Axl Howie.

Team Perosh BJJ team competed last weekend in 2 competitons in 2 states. Axyl Howie won double gold at the Aus Sub Only on the Gold Coast. Frances Bavaro had 2 wins and Emma Hunt had 2 wins at the Australian Girls in Gi BJJ competition in Sydney. Well done to everyone that competed!

Adults BJJ at Team Perosh

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts have 18 new BJJ State Champions! The 18 state champions are 7 adults, 3 teenagers and 8 kids. We had 45 competitors from 6 different Team Perosh academies including Five Dock HQ (26), Pure Jiu-Jitsu (10), RMA & Total Fitness (4), Movement Martial Arts (3), Elite (1) and Macq uni (1).

• Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts – Gold to Nobby Kuandyk (Double), Fran Bavaro, Guy Vaccaro, Kosta Panayi, Joel Gaal (Double), Damian Iacono, Aryan Singh, Kobe Harb, Ruben Darchinyan, Natasha Iacono, Axyl Howie and Sam Cassaniti. Silver to Michael De Marco, Ameer Karas, Katarina Roso, Julian Tsitsos, Jake Lapi and Dante Barbanera. Bronze to Fran Bavaro, Elyse Lapi and Roman Fotheringham.
• Pure Jiu Jitsu Southern Highlands – Gold to Grant Barlow, George Root, Millie Knaff, Silver to Grant Barlow, Heidi Bowie and Hunter Pycroft, Bronze to Ron Cheung.
• RMA & Total Fitness – Silver to Jordan, Seve and Kade
• Movement Martial Arts – Silver to Sebastian Scalise
• Elite Martial arts Australia – Gold to Samuel Craig
