ADCC Oceania and Asian World Trials Results

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts Five Dock student Michael De Marco competed in the 2022 ADCC Oceania and Asian World Trials last weekend in the 66kg division. The winner received an entry to the World Championships in September in Las Vegas. Michael won 3 matches and lost his 4th match in the quarter final. He put in a great performance.

I also cornered my Wrestling coach from my UFC days Denis Roberts who competed in the 99+kg division. He won 2 matches and finished 4th place.

Well done to both competitors in the ADCC trials!

I ran a BJJ grading at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts affiliate BJJ academy Elite Martial Arts in Minchinbury on Saturday 4th June. There were two big classes of kids and adults that graded. Extra special congrats to the 4 new BJJ Blue Belts and one new BJJ Purple Belt. And double extra congrats to Head Coach Bren Foster on receiving his BJJ First Degree Black Belt! Well done to everyone that graded at Elite!

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts Five Dock student Michael De Marco had 1 win 1 loss at the 2022 World Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Los Angeles last weekend. He lost to the number one seed in the division. Michael is motivated more than ever to get better and get the podium finish!

Team Perosh Affiliate students William Bunn, John Bunn and Frances Bavaro also had 1 win 1 loss each at the World’s.

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts had our gradings 30 & 31 March and make up grading on 8 April in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing for both adults and kids. It was a great 3 days. Well done to everyone that graded!
