Grappling Industries BJJ Comp Sydney Results

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts BJJ comp team had 20 students win 9 Gold, 7 silver and 7 Bronze medals at last weekends Grappling Industries BJJ comp in Sydney. Team Perosh also won Best Academy and won a big oversized medal! And RCJ Machado won Best Affiliation!

Sam Senan, Mason Elias, John Kim, Axyl Howie (Double), Dante Barbanera (Double), Aryan Singh and Roman Fotheringham won gold, Kob Harb (Double), Isaac Herodotou (Double), Aryan Singh, Brigette MAssih and Alexei Fotheringham won silver, Sam Senan, Daniel Diaz, Wayne Fotheringham, Brendan Brittain, John Kim and Lewis Massih (Double) won bronze.

One FC Warrior Tryouts in Sydney

Team Perosh fighter student Phil Kim was a successful applicant in the ONE Championship Warrior Series tryouts last weekend in Sydney! One Warrior Series is an opportunity for fighters to fight for a chance to win a One FC contract. The Sydney tryouts was run by former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin. Big Congrats Phil! Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts Kids BJJ competition team had 9 students win 10 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals at the Aus Sub Only competition in West Sydney on 9^th December.

Gold medals were won by Kosta Panayi, Yusuf Kumsuz, Aryan Singh, Natasha Iacono, Axyl Howie, Sam Cassaniti (Double), Dante Barbanera (Double), Isaac Herodotou. Silver were won by Suleyman Kumsuz, Aryan Singh, Natasha Iacono and Axyl Howie. Bronze medals were won by Kosta Panayi and Isaac Herodotou.

NSW BJJ Summer Cup Team Perosh Sydney November 2018

NSW BJJ Federation Summer Cup Results

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts had 23 students win 11 gold, 11 silver and 1 bronze medals at the NSW BJJ Federation Summer Cup in Sydney on 25th November!

Gold medals were won by to Michael De Marco, James Zai, Julian Tsitsos (Double), Kosta Panayi, Jake Herrera, Damian Iacono, Kobe Harb, Aryan Singh, Natasha Iacono and Axyl Howie. Silver medals were won by Michael De Marco, Guy Vaccaro, James Zai, Julian Tsitsos (Double), Darren Chism, Campbell Lahoud, Dante Barbanera, Brigitte Massih, Lewis Massih and Angelina Pan. Bronze medals were won by Olivia Hu.

Team Perosh is part of Team Will-Machado and Will-Machado won the 2nd place trophy in the Kids Team Category and 3rd in the Adults and Masters Nogi category.

Two mma wins from two this weekend. Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts fighter Joey Belfiore won his mma match last night by submission in the first round at West Region Fight Night 5 in Lithgow.

It was a short match but had a lot of action. Joey finished the match with a guilllotine choke.

Thank you to Phil Kim, Nobby Kuandyk and Nelson Mayan for helping corner.

And thank you to all Team Perosh students, friends and family who came to support.
