We had another great mma training session last Saturday at Team Perosh. We had a lot of guests including Amateur Australian Thai Kickboxing Champion Charles. Our team of amateur and pro fighters as long as beginners are all training together to achieve their goals. I taught a BJJ grading and MMA seminar at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts affiliate BJJ academy RMA in Griffith last Wednesday 11th December. Big congrats to everyone who graded and extra congrats to new BJJ Blue Belt Brooke! Well done to head coaches Frank Cirillo and Peter Moraschi on getting everyone ready for their grading and also for them grading to Purple Belt 4th Stripe.

Team Perosh student Andrew Mills lost his Welterweight title fight at AFC MMA show Sunday 1st December in Melbourne. After winning the first round he got caught with a submission in the second round. Andrew is ok and will be back at training soon.

Thank you to Nelson Mayan and Andrew Khare for helping corner Andrew Mills and prepare him for his fight backstage.

Thank you to everyone who came to support Andrew down in Melbourne at the AFC MMA show and thank you to everyone who supported him watching Fight Pass.

Urban Fight Night MMA results

Last night was one of those learning experiences for Team Perosh! Our fighters went 1 win 3 losses at the Urban Fight Night MMA show Friday 29th November.

Joey Befiore won a split decision in a tough match which was all stand up. Albert Roncal, Lucas Angelakos and Harry Smith lost their matches. It was Albert’s second match and Lucas and Harry were making their debut. They all had their chances to win but sometimes it doesn’t go your way. Well done everyone.

We had 4 fighters on the night so needed a lot of help backstage. Thank you to cornerman Nobby, Phil, Nelson, Greg and Hari for getting our fighters ready.

Thank you to everyone who came to support our fighters at Urban Fight Night. You’re the best!

Team Perosh fighters Andrew Khare, Nelson Mayan and Emil Jeries had their mma fights last Friday night on Superfight MMA. Team Perosh went 2 wins 1 loss on the night on a great fight card. Nelson and Emil won their matches by TKO in the first round. Andrew lost his match in the second round. You win or learn in martial arts!

Team Perosh Andrew Mills won his mma match and defended his Welterweight title last night at Superfight MMA 12. It was a tough 5 round unanimous decision win by Andrew. Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts fighters went 2 wins 1 loss at UFN MMA 19 show in Sydney on Friday 28th June. Daniel McVicker and Albert Roncal both won by decision and both were on their MMA debut. Nathan Maitre lost a very close decision is his Flyweight title match. Well done everyone!
