I was invited to Stewie’s House of BJJ in Bendigo to teach a BJJ Seminar last weekend. I first met Stewart Moulden back in 2000 when he was a BJJ White belt and I was a BJJ Purple belt. I had the honour of presenting Stewart with his BJJ 4^th Degree Black Belt. Big congrats to you and your team. Thank you to everyone who came to the BJJ seminar and make me feel welcome.

Grading and seminar at Lake Macquarie Jiu-Jitsu

I taught a BJJ No Gi Seminar and attended a Gi grading at Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts BJJ Affiliate Lake Macquarie Jiu-Jitsu. Great turn out at the Hector Lombard Seminar

There was a great turn out for both seminars run by UFC Veteran Hector Lombard at Team Perosh MMA. Hector taught 1 hour of Judo takedowns and 1 hour of Striking with some of his favourite and signature techniques. He is very passionate about coaching and all the students in attendance loved his coaching style and techniques he taught. Looking forward to having Hector back at Team Perosh soon.

Hector Lombard Seminar next week

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts are hosting a very special guest next week! UFC veteran Hector Lombard is teaching a seminar Friday 9^th August between 6pm and 8pm. The first hour is Judo Gi Takedowns and the second hour is Striking.

Hector Lombard and I fought on the CFC shows in Australia many times (Side by side not each other!) before we both made it to the UFC. Hector is also a many time Judo National Champion and Bare Knuckle Champion.

Demian Maia BJJ seminar

I attended the BJJ seminar by Demian Maia this week. Demian is a UFC veteran, ADCC Champion and 5^th Degree BJJ Black Belt. As a UFC veteran myself Demian was one of my favourite fighters to watch in the UFC. Thank you Demian for sharing your technique during the seminar. Farewell to my BJJ coach Carlos Machado

My BJJ coach Carlos Machado has finished his tour of Australian BJJ seminars. Thank you to all the seminar hosts for supporting Carlos and thank you to everyone who attended his seminars.

Thank you to my BJJ coach Carlos for teaching extra BJJ classes to my students, continuing to help me with my BJJ game and for presenting me with my BJJ 5^th Degree Black Belt.

And thank you for spending time with my family including your new BFF Luka.

My BJJ coach Carlos Machado teaches at my academy

My BJJ coach Carlos Machado taught a BJJ seminar at my academy in Sydney to 80 people including 20 BJJ Black Belts last Sunday. The details to techniques he teaches is second to none. I learnt so much myself from his seminar!

About 60 people who attended were my students or from Team Perosh Affiliate BJJ academies. And about 20 were from non-Machado and non-Team Perosh academies. This is rare because usually when you go to seminars it is mainly made up of students from the host academy. This is another testament to how good a BJJ coach Carlos is.

I also had the honour of being presented my 5^th Degree BJJ Black Belt at the end of the seminar. Carlos has been my coach since 1997 and he will continue to be my coach until 2097 and beyond! Thank you Carlos.

Carlos Machado has arrived in Australia

Carlos Machado arrived In Australia yesterday morning 6am. In true Carlos fashion he didn’t want to go to the hotel. We went to have breakfast and then he wanted to teach my 11am BJJ class. He then came back to meet one of my small Kids BJJ classes at 5pm and then taught the BJJ Adults class 7pm! What a coach!

Carlos is teaching a BJJ seminar this Sunday 10am at my academy. Don’t miss out!
