Jean Jacques Machado held a BJJ seminar at the SPMA Concord gym in Sydney on 27th June for 25 students. Jean Jacques Machado is a 7th degree Red and Black Belt in BJJ and is the brother of my coach Carlos Machado. Jean Jacques Machado is a former World BJJ champion in gi and no gi. He is now a coach and has his own BJJ gyms in California.
I went to Griffith and Wagga Wagga on 5th and 6th of April teaching a BJJ seminar at each place. In Griffith I taught at RMA & Total Fitness owned by Frank Cirillo. RMA is now a new affiliate gym and will be implementing my BJJ syllabus and grading program. Welcome! And in Wagga Wagga I taught a BJJ seminar at Nexus BJJ. I want to thank Paul Dallow from TORA Athletic for organising both seminars for me.
Current UFC Heavyweight Todd Duffee held an MMA seminar at SPMA Concord in Sydney on Sunday 17th November. He showed takedowns, ground and pound and submissions from the top for two and a half hours. Todd trains at AKA (American Kickboxing Academy) in San Jose, California. AKA is also home of current UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Valesquez.
