Farewell Coach Peter Mrsnik

On behalf of Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who attended our Muay Thai Kickboxing friend and coach Peter Mrsnik funeral yesterday and showed their support. The turnout from current and former students, staff, and friends was a true testament to the incredible impact Peter had on so many lives. Your presence, kind words, and heartfelt memories have meant the world to us during this difficult time. Thank you for honouring his legacy with us.

Remembering our coach Peter Mrsnik

It has been 1 week since our coach and great friend Peter Mrsnik passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

Peter was more than a student and coach to me. He was a mentor and very good friend. I want to write so much about him, but I am lost for words. I miss him terribly.

Peter taught us to do our best and fight to the end. He did that himself on the mat teaching, in the ring competing, and in life.

We’ll carry his legacy forward. Rest easy Peter. You will always be with us.

If you would like to join us and celebrate Peter Mrsnik’s life with fond memories, his funeral is being held Thursday 3 April 2025 at 10am at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium, Cn Delhi Rd & Plassey Rd Macquarie Park.

The 10am service is at Magnolia Chapel with the post service gathering at Wallumatta Function Centre, which is within the cemetery grounds.

2024 Team Perosh End of Year Gradings

The 2024 Team Perosh end of year gradings are extra special and this year didn’t disappoint. Big congrats to everyone who graded at our December gradings in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing for both adults and kids.

New BJJ Black Belts were presented to Vince Papa and Mason Elias. They have both been training 10+ years at Team Perosh and started as White Belts. Very well deserved promotions.

In Muay Thai Kickboxing Toby Nguyen, Rob Patane and Andrew Xuereb were promoted to Blue T-Shirt. In Kids BJJ Kobe Harb and Aryan Singh were presented with Blue Belts and Dante Barbanera his Orange Belt. In Kids Muay Thai Marcus and Max Quach were awarded their Green T-Shirt.

Congratulations to everyone that graded at our 2024 Team Perosh end of year gradings! We had over 100 grade across the disciplines. We will post another set of photos from the gradings shortly.

TPMMA Muay Thai Kickboxing Team results

Team Perosh Muay Thai Kickboxing Team had 3 students compete in the Royal Consulate Cup last weekend at Club Ryde. Jacob won his semi final but was unable to do the final due to injury. Nick and Sunny made the final in their division but lost close matches. All 3 won a silver medal. Well done to everyone! A big thank you to everyone who came to support our Muay Thai Kickboxing Team.

Hector Lombard Seminar next week

Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts are hosting a very special guest next week! UFC veteran Hector Lombard is teaching a seminar Friday 9^th August between 6pm and 8pm. The first hour is Judo Gi Takedowns and the second hour is Striking.

Hector Lombard and I fought on the CFC shows in Australia many times (Side by side not each other!) before we both made it to the UFC. Hector is also a many time Judo National Champion and Bare Knuckle Champion.

Register and pay on the day. Everyone is welcome. Don’t miss out!
