Calvin Siu and John Biona lost their matches by decision at the Muay Thai Australia NSW Development Day in Sydney on 28th October. They put in great performances. It was Calvin’s second match and John’s debut. The MTA Development Days are a great opportunity to gain experience. Well done guys!

We have moved our MMA. BJJ and Muay Thai Kickboxing academy from Concord to Five Dock. Classes at the new location at Ground Floor, 97 Queens Road started Monday 25th September! Check out the timetable and photos of the new and the new academy.
Team Perosh student Andrew Khare had a boxing fight on 23rd September. He lost a very close decision against an experienced and heavier opponent. Thanks to everyone who came and supported!

Darren Chee won his match and Daniel Ciancio lost his match by decision. It was both their debut matches and both put in great performances.
Grading week is finished. I love grading week. You see results in terms of perfect technique from students which only comes from of a lot of hours and drilling on the mat. Big congrats to everyone who graded this week.

Last weekend we had 6 wins 2 losses in Muay Thai competition in Sydney, I presented 3 BJJ Blackbelts, 7 students completed their coaching course and Australia have a UFC champion!

I presented BJJ Black Belts to Andrew Husmann, Billy Sam and Wade Huang. They have trained between 8-10 years, have competed in numerous competitions and now run their own martial arts academy. A great achievement!

After at week of gradings at SPMA Concord I attended 5 gradings at 5 affiliate schools in 10 days in Sydney, Macquarie Park, Kemps Creek, Minchinbury, Smithfield and Mackay.
